On Tuesday, December 1, St. John’s Medical Center will host the lunchtime
learning presentation, “Advances in Joint Replacements: From Surgical
Techniques to Patient Care,” at the Teton County Library from 12:00
to 1:00 p.m.
Presented by Gus Goetz, DO, topics include: joint replacement and when
to consider it, minimally invasive approaches with computer-assisted surgery,
and an introduction of St. John's Peak Joint Replacement Program.
Dr. Goetz is chair of the surgical operations committee and medical director
for the hospital’s Peak Joint Replacement Program. An orthopedic
surgeon, he served as the chief of surgery at SJMC for five years.
