Stephanie M. Lyden, MD

About Stephanie

Dr. Lyden was born and raised in Wyoming. Following her undergraduate education at the University of Wyoming, she was a clinical research assistant for the National Institutes of Health’s stroke team in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Lyden later attended medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, and went on to complete a neurology residency at Rush University in Chicago, IL. Dr. Lyden is currently completing a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

From growing up in a rural state, Dr. Lyden has an interest in expanding access to stroke and general neurological care to rural, under-served areas. Dr. Lyden likes the idea of using new technology, such as telestroke/teleneurology, to help achieve this. Dr. Lyden enjoys hiking, skiing, backpacking, running, cross country mountain biking and skiing, interior design, architecture and spending time with her Labradane.
