St. John's Offers Dinner with the Doc

24-Oct-2014

St. John's Medical Center will offer "Dinner with the Doc" on Thursday, November 13 at 6 pm at the Senior Center of Jackson Hole. The meal and information session will feature Bruce Hayse, MD, and social worker Sharon Walls, LMFT, discussing how to stay inspired for the winter.

The dinner is free for all seniors. Friends and families are welcome to attend for a fee of $8. Support for the event comes from the St. John's Hospital Foundation.

"We are pleased to help reach folks who may have a difficult time getting to other events in the community. Our hope is to provide dinners for seniors, so they can have informal contact with doctors and the social worker throughout the year. Access to health information is critical for a healthy community," said Sharon Walls, manager of social services at St. John's.

Reservations may be made by calling 733-7300. The Italian-themed dinner includes lasagna, salad, grilled vegetables, and dessert. The Senior Center is located at 830 E. Hansen Avenue.
