Biography

Dr. Martin “Marty” Trott leads the St. John’s Health ENT and Hearing Clinic and serves as Medical Director for St. John’s Health physician practices. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and brings extensive clinical expertise and leadership experience to his role.

Dr. Trott grew up in Buffalo, New York, and earned both his undergraduate degree and his medical degree—graduating with honors—from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He completed his surgical internship and residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic from 1989 to 1994, where he practiced prior to joining St. John’s Health. In 2010, he earned a Master of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Dr. Trott is passionate about providing cost-effective, compassionate care for children and adults with ear, nose, and throat conditions and has a particular interest in improving complex healthcare systems. His professional recognitions include board certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology, membership in the American College of Surgeons, and election to Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Beta Kappa.

Dr. Trott and his wife, Cindy, an advanced practice nurse, have three children.

Dr. Trott has served as a Director of St. John’s Health Foundation since 2022.
