Biography
Dr. Paul N. Beaupré is an accomplished healthcare executive and board-certified anesthesiologist with more than 18 years of senior leadership experience in complex, high-performing hospital systems. Most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer of St. John’s Health in Jackson, Wyoming, he led the organization to national recognition for quality, patient experience, and safety—including top-tier CMS ratings, Leapfrog’s “A” Hospital Safety Grade, and designation as Wyoming’s safest hospital.
Prior to his leadership in Wyoming, Dr. Beaupré spent over two decades at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California, where he served as CEO, COO, and CMO. His tenure included driving substantial financial growth, elevating physician and employee engagement, and overseeing major clinical advancements such as earning Comprehensive Stroke Center certification and repeated national awards in cancer care.
A strategic, relationship-driven leader, Dr. Beaupré is known for building high-performing teams, strengthening physician alignment, and advancing operational excellence through lean and Six Sigma principles. His clinical background reinforces a deep commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
Dr. Beaupré holds a B.S. in Biology from Claremont Men’s College and an M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. He currently serves on the boards of the Jackson Hole Historical Society, St. John’s Health Foundation, and Central Wyoming College, and advises organizations including Palantir, Hakluyt, and St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Dr. Beaupré has served as a Director of St. John’s Health Foundation since 2026.
