Scott Gibson

Biography
Scott and his wife, Pamela Gibson, have lived in Jackson for over 16 years. Scott has served on three non-profits while living full time in Jackson Hole: 11 years on the St. John’s Health Board, 10 years on the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole Board, and 10 years with Rotary.
Scott has been in the high-tech industry for over 40 years, starting as an Intel Division General Manager, then Co-Founder and Co-CEO of the start-up Sequent Computer Systems, which went public in 1987 (SQNT) and was bought by IBM in 1998. Sequent grew from start-up to $815 million in annual sales. After Sequent, Scott spent over twenty-five years as a public company director on 11 public companies, helping high-tech companies and utilities grow successfully. He recently retired as Chair of the Board at Northwest Natural Holdings (NYSE: NWN), working closely with senior leadership and the board to enter and grow the water utility business, as well as both regulated and unregulated renewable natural gas businesses. He also served in leadership roles with Qorvo, TriQuint Semiconductor, Radisys, and most recently as Chairman of Wireless Telecom Group.
Scott is currently on the board of Pixelworks, where he chairs the Strategy and Compensation Committees. Pixelworks has an extensive customer base for its visual processor semiconductors in China and Japan, as well as its TrueCut software product used in the film and streaming industry by Disney, Apple, IMAX, and Universal Pictures.
Scott and Pamela, along with their children and grandchildren, especially enjoy skiing, biking, mountain hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Scott has served as a Director of St. John’s Health Foundation since 2026.
