From Little Hands to Little Heads — Young Knitters Gift Hats

A bundle of tiny hats recently made their way to the OB department at St. John’s Health, each one handmade with love by young knitters from local elementary schools. The “Knit for Good” clubs at Colter and Jackson Elementary — with Munger Elementary joining soon — have been hard at work, knitting soft, colorful caps for newborn babies.
What began as a simple after-school activity turned into something much more meaningful as students realized their handmade creations would be part of a newborn’s first days of life.
St. John’s Health and the Foundation are deeply grateful to the students, teachers, and volunteers who helped bring this idea to life. Thank you for using your time and talents to welcome our newest community members in such a special way.
Knit for Good is a program of Teton County School District's After the Bell.
SJH RN Alexandra accepts hat donation from Knit for Good students.
