St. John’s Health caregivers are the heart of our community, but housing in Jackson is a growing challenge. That’s why St. John’s Health is building the Hitching Post Apartments, a 72-unit development designed with and for our dedicated healthcare workers.

With our $13.7 million private philanthropy goal fully achieved as of November 2025—and paired with the community’s support through $24 million in SPET funding—we are well on our way toward opening the doors to workforce housing in early 2028.
