The Cancer Survivorship Program welcomes St. John’s oncology patients to our pilot “Intro into Knitting” group with Carolyn Little at Knit on Pearl. Research reports that knitting can help with chemo-related cognitive impairments; anxiety and depression; and can teach aspects of mindfulness. Knitters will have the opportunity to donate to their creations back to the oncology department for other cancer patients and survivors.
4-week class on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00PM
