About Hannah

Hannah E. Caulfield, MD is a board certified General Surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the president of the Idaho chapter of American College of Surgeons.

Hannah has advanced training in Trauma surgery, Robotic surgery and Oncoplastic/Reconstructive surgery. She is especially interested in surgery of the colon, breast, thyroid, parathyroid, hernia, gallbladder, robotic, laparoscopic, reconstructive and reflux operations.

Dr. Caulfield is extremely passionate about caring for her patients, and when she is doing that she says that she feels “like I am doing what I was always meant to do." After receiving her training from the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine and St. Joseph’s Medical Center Surgical Residency Program, a Level I Trauma center, she moved to Idaho, where she worked for 7 years. She is excited about continuing her work in the region by joining the team at St. John’s Health. She is particularly excited about developing the breast cancer care and cancer/reconstructive surgery availability in Jackson, WY. “I think it is so important for people to be able to have these resources close to home.” With her addition to the team our community is now able to receive top line surgical care for their cancer care needs.

When Hannah is not caring for her patients, she and her husband enjoy the various outdoor activities that the Teton Valley has to offer, including backcountry skiing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming and more.

Dr. Caulfield is accepting new patients and looks forward to expanding the care available locally.
