Senior services are featured topic of St. John's Words on Wellness presentation

St. John’s Words on Wellness will present “Senior Services in Teton County,” on Tuesday, May 30 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Teton County Library. This panel discussion will feature senior service providers Sarah Graham, RN, from St. John's Living Center; Lisa Delaney, from Legacy Lodge; Becky Zaist, from Senior Center of Jackson Hole; Christina Riley, LCSW, from the social services department at St. John’s Medical Center; and Jean Day, from Age Friendly Jackson Hole.

The presentation brings senior care givers together in one place to educate the community about which entity delivers what care and help them to better utilize available resources.

“This discussion will highlight the many services available to seniors in our community,” said St. John’s wellness director Julia Heemstra. “We are aware that gaps exist in senior care in our community, and we want to begin to examine which ones are the most pronounced and what steps are needed to lessen them.”
