Innovations in spine care is topic of presentation in Afton

Spine specialist Christopher Hills, DO, will give a presentation on innovations in spine care at the Afton/Lincoln County Civic Center on Thursday, July 26 at 5:30 pm. Dr. Hills is medical director of St. John’s Peak Spine Center, a comprehensive program based on national best practices and the fundamental principles of wellness.

In his talk, Dr. Hills will review common causes of back pain, provide preventive tips, explain non-operative treatments, and discuss advances in minimally invasive surgery. He will also describe what global spinal alignment is, why it matters, and how new technologies can help achieve better outcomes. Following the presentation, Dr. Hills will answer questions.

Catering will be provided by Old Yellowstone Garage. The Afton/Lincoln County Civic Center is located at 150 South Washington Street in Afton. RSVP by July 24 to the Peak Spine Center at 307.739.6199.

Dr. Hills received his orthope­dic surgery training at Madigan Army Medical Center, and his military service included a deployment to Afghanistan. He completed a fellowship in adult spine surgery at Duke University Medical Center, training in minimally invasive spine and complex cervical reconstructive techniques.
