Free film screening: "Those on the Front Lines of Alzheimer's and Dementia"

The Wyoming premiere of the film “Those on the Front Lines of Alzheimer’s and Dementia” will be held on Monday, September 17 at 6 pm at the Teton County Library.

The 75-minute documentary, by producer and director Keith Famie of Visionalist Entertainment Productions, investigates the lives of people who are living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, as well as their caretakers. In the film, Famie also profiles some of the nation’s most respected professionals and researchers, who provide a glimpse into the current and future efforts to prevent and treat these diseases.

“Alzheimer’s has devastated the lives of millions of families and is the 6th leading cause of death in the US,” said Famie. “Our hope is to help families find hope and even inspiration through this film.”

The event is free, and doors open at 5:30 pm. The library is located at 125 Virginian Lane, Jackson.

This presentation is held in collaboration with the Teton County Library as a St. John's Health Words on Wellness program, which is funded in part by the St. John's Hospital Foundation.
