Meet and Greet new providers on January 28

The community is invited to a public reception to meet new providers at St. John’s Health. The event will take place on Tuesday, January 28 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in the Jackson Room at the Wort Hotel. A short program will begin at 5:30 pm.

"This is an opportunity to meet many of our sub-specialists in an informal setting, which many patients have told us they find valuable," said communications officer Karen Connelly. “The new doctors represent an expansion of St. John's Health in the areas of oncology/cancer care, cardiology, neurology, pulmonology, and sleep medicine."

Other physicians from the medical group, and new and current staff members from St. John’s Health and Teton Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation will be available to meet the public.

Huntsman Cancer Institute oncologist Benjamin Solomon, MD, is board certified in hematology, oncology, and internal medicine. Dr. Solomon completed his fellowship training in hematology and oncology at University of Utah School of Medicine.

Oncology nurse practitioner Beth Dannewald, NP-C, MSN, has worked in oncology for 23 years, since earning her BS in nursing from Louisiana State University. She holds a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Cardiologist Jon Melman, MD, is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. On the staff of Intermountain Healthcare, Dr. Melman completed fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology at Harvard Medical School.

Cardiology nurse practitioner Stephanie Ferris, FNPC-DNP, earned both her bachelor of nursing science and doctorate of nursing practice from the University of Wyoming, completing both degrees with honors.

A Wyoming native, neurologist Stephanie Lyden, MD, attended medical school at the University of Washington and completed a neurology residency at Rush University in Chicago. She is currently completing a vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

Board certified in sleep medicine and pulmonary disease, Haven Malish, MD, completed fellowships in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Southern California and in sleep medicine at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education.
