Gale Crozier, PA-C was my new provider who has stepped in for Dr. Mullen's departure. Making this type of transition can be intimidating. My foremost concern was the inclusion, acknowledgement and respect for my mental health, specifically Complex PTSD and Major Depressive Disorder, in conjunction with my heart health. Gale was Instantly and sincerely supportive and attentive to my concerns. Her experience with Veterans, as well as the VA, is a perfect fit for me!! I have been ostracized in the past concerning my mental health issues in relation to my heart health, and that coming from a heart health provider. My concerns were basically brushed aside by another provider. Gale immediately confirmed that both my mental health and heart health are very much interconnected. Her knowledge of PTSD and how it affects the heart and the body is highly commendable. I couldn't have handled picked a better match for my heart health care. Furthermore, her recommendation for continuing treatment for my heart conditions is to seek alternative measures without the use of additional pharmaceutical drugs. She has requested cardiac rehabilitation for me near my home in Pinedale. This provider is a rare example of an all encompassing healthcare professional given the nature and complexity of my health. I look forward to my future with Gale Crozier and improving my health all around!!

Press Gainey and St. John's must add a new EXCELLENT (6) rating to properly address Gale Crozier's understanding, explanation and sensitive care in assessing the recent bladder emergency probably affected by too much blood thinning medication. She quickly stopped 81 mg. Aspirin; interrupted Plavix for two weeks to allow bladder healing; altered Losartin from 100 to 50 mg. Daily and added another heart/bp medication. Also, changed previously Ordered 40 mg Omeprazole to a new more compatible prescription with Plavix. EXCELLENT!

I thought something was wrong with her inability to answer basic questions.
