"Sleep Issues for Seniors" featured at Dinner with a Doc

On Tuesday, March 20, St. John’s Medical Center will offer Dinner with a Doc at the Senior Center of Jackson Hole. The evening will feature Tierney Lake, MD, who will discuss “Sleep Issues for Seniors.” Dr. Lake will address basic issues around seniors and sleep, CPAP and sleep apnea, and best practices to optimize sleep.

The dinner begins at 6 pm, and the talk will follow.

The menu includes Greek salad, Mediterranean fish with tomatoes and vegetables, rice pilaf, carrot coins, whole wheat bread, and a fruit cup. The dinner is free for seniors, thanks to support from the St. John’s Hospital Foundation, and $8 for guests. RSVP to the Senior Center at 733-7300.

Tierney Lake, MD Dr. Lake practices at St. John’s Internal Medicine in Jackson. Born and raised in Durango, Colorado, she attended Fort Lewis College and completed medical school and residency at the University of Colorado HealthSciences Center. She previously practiced at Montrose Memorial Hospital in Colorado. Dr. Lake is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spending her free time trail running, mountain biking, backpacking, and skiing with her husband and two labs.
