Hospital Auxiliary Announces 28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Hospital Auxiliary Announces 28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The St. John’s Medical Center Auxiliary hosts the 28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, one of the community’s oldest and largest golf events, on Wednesday, September 4 at the Snake River Sporting Club.

“We are thrilled to use the proceeds from this year’s tournament to help with our pledge to assist with the purchase of a new combination CT and nuclear medicine scanner,” said Sue Critzer, tournament co-chair. “The scanner can image the heart, look for cancers in various organs, and provide needed additional scanning capacity for the hospital.”

The afternoon of golf begins with registration and access to the practice facility at 11:00 am, followed by lunch and a 1:00 pm shotgun start. Playing spots are limited to 88. Interested parties may sponsor a team, put together a team of four players, or sign up individually to be paired with a team.

An awards party will celebrate the successes of the day with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Items such as fine jewelry and unique experiences donated by generous local businesses will be auctioned and raffled off. Division winners will receive a gift card to Skinny Skis or The Hole Golf. There are men’s competitive, mixed competitive, and fun divisions.

The event is sold out, but please call the Auxiliary at 307-739-7529 to make a donation or be placed on the waiting list.
