Douglas E. Holt, MD

About Douglas

Dr. Holt enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and playing racquetball. Dr. Holt has specialized training in a wide range of cutting-edge radiation therapies and techniques including SRS, SBRT, VMAT and High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy in a vast array of malignancies and benign tumors with training from the University of Colorado where he served as Chief Resident. He also received additional prostatic and gynecological HDR brachytherapy training at Memorial Sloan Kettering. He has a passion for improving the patient experience where he has been recognized for his efforts with grant funding and receiving the 2021 National Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC) Innovator of the Year Award with his work in pioneering the use of advanced imaging review during clinical consultations for patients and their caregivers. He is a co-creator of RadFlixTM – a radiation compatible video distraction system used to reduce anxiety and anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Holt takes care of patients at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, ID and St. John’s Hospital in Jackson, WY.
