Walk-In Flu Shot Clinics Offered at St. John's Physician Practices

For patient convenience, St. John’s Physician Practices is offering walk-in flu shot clinics on the following dates and locations:

• Saturday, October 21 & Sunday, October 22, 10 am–4 pm, at Family Health & Urgent Care, 1415 South Highway 89 (739-8999)
• Tuesday, October 24, 8:30 am–5 pm, at Internal Medicine-Jackson, 555 E. Broadway, Suite 201 (733-7222)
• Tuesday, October 24, 8:30 am–5 pm, at Internal Medicine-Wilson, 5235 HHR Ranch Rd, Wilson (739-7696)

On these dates, no appointment is necessary and the flu shot (for regular adult and pediatric doses) will be discounted to $20. Payment is by cash or check only, and insurance will not be billed. The high-dose vaccine, for patents 65 and older, is available at the regular cost of $55, and insurance will be billed.

In addition to the walk-in flu shot clinics, patients may receive a flu shot by scheduling an appointment. The fee for regular adult and pediatric doses is $35. The high dose vaccine will also be available. Insurance will be billed.

“The flu kills between 45,000 and 65,000 Americans each year, but it is a preventable disease,” said St. John’s CEO Paul Beaupré, MD. “Vaccines are highly effective for preventing the flu and saving lives.”
