Limited tickets available for 59th Annual St. John's Auxiliary Spring Fling Gala

Limited tickets available for 59th Annual St. John's Auxiliary Spring Fling Gala

The 59th Annual Spring Fling Gala will be held on Saturday, May 26 at Jackson Lake Lodge in Moran, Wyoming. Hosted by the St. John’s Medical Center Auxiliary, the Spring Fling historically kicks off the summer season and draws nearly 400 guests to Jackson Lake Lodge. This year’s theme, “A Homegrown Wyoming Evening,” features locally produced menu items, specialty cocktails from Wyoming Whiskey, and Wyoming-based décor. Tickets are $125/person and are available by calling 307.739.7517 or emailing mking@tetonhospital.org.

Vicki Rosenberg, a longtime Auxiliary member and this year’s Gala co-chair, said, “The Gala is the largest fundraiser the St. John’s Auxiliary has throughout the year. In the past, it has supported the affiliation between St. John’s Medical Center and the Huntsman Cancer Institute, 3-D mammography equipment, and the Living Center Activity bus. This year we are raising funds for our recently announced $250,000 pledge to support the purchase of a microselection afterloader, a computer-controlled machine necessary to offer high-dose brachytherapy cancer treatment at St. John’s Medical Center.”

The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 6:00 pm, with dinner following at 7:00 pm. Auctioneer Leland Christensen will lead the bidding on items ranging from private catered dinners to vacations in Napa Valley and Canada. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on two chandeliers from the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.

The evening will conclude with dancing to the popular band Whiskey Mornin’.

There will be a drawing for raffle prizes, which include a deerskin lariat necklace by local jeweler Annie Band, a fly-fishing float trip on the Snake River with World Cast Anglers’ head guide Derek Hutton, a privately guided scenic boat tour of Jenny Lake with Jenny Lake Boating, and a Wyoming-themed gift basket with an assortment of items from throughout the Cowboy state. Raffle tickets (1 for $10, 6 for $50, or 15 for $100) are available by calling 307.739.7517 or clicking here.

Grand Teton Lodge Company is the platinum sponsor. Gold sponsors include: Cerner, Lynn & Foster Friess, Grand Anesthesiology Services, Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, and The Liquor Store.

Discounted room rates are offered at Jackson Lake Lodge for Spring Fling guests. Please call the Lodge at 307.543.3100 to reserve a room.
