Now seeing patients at St. John’s Health Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation
Dr. David P. Steinberg, board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, brings extensive experience to St. John’s Health, including care of complex neurorehabilitation and pain conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His passion for medicine was sparked by his father, a physiology professor, and led him to complete medical school at the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. In addition to an Internal Medicine internship at Northwestern University McGaw School of Medicine and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Dr. Steinberg completed residency at Northwestern University’s Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. He offers complex spasticity management services as well as a variety of interventional and nonoperative pain and musculoskeletal treatments, helping patients find restoration and quality of life in their work to recover from devastating injuries and illnesses. He loves that rehabilitation medicine provides constant opportunities to help others, to learn, to grow, and to work closely with other committed caregivers, patients, and families to overcome challenges and achieve great things in life.
