Following a unanimous vote of the Board of Trustees, Jeff Sollis was named
CEO, effective January 2, 2023. He has over eighteen years of health system
leadership experience at facilities across the nation, including as chief
executive officer at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC), a
position he held from 2018 through 2022. Prior to being CEO at EIRMC,
Sollis served as the organization’s chief operating officer (COO)
for four years.
Prior to his tenure at EIRMC, Sollis held positions as chief operating officer at Timpanogos Regional Hospital (Orem, Utah); VP of Operations at Wesley Medical Center (Wichita, Kansas); and Assistant Administrator at North Suburban Medical Center (Thornton, Colorado).
Sollis earned his Masters of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a bachelor’s of arts degree in Behavioral Science and Health from the University of Utah.
In his first year at SJH, Sollis successfully led a comprehensive strategic planning process, which culminated with Board of Trustees approval in December 2023. The pillars of the 2024 -2029 Strategic Plan are: driving quality and operational excellence; strengthening and supporting the workforce; and, enhancing the breadth and depth of care for the community. With Sollis at the helm, SJH has onboarded new several physicians in key clinical specialties, including Oncology, Breast Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Orthopedic Trauma, and Family Medicine. He has also renewed the organization’s commitment to obstetrical care, in close collaboration with community providers. With a strong commitment to workforce housing, Sollis is working with the board’s Finance Committee to explore sustainable funding options for the redevelopment of the Hitching Post.
Community involvement and philanthropy is a core value for Sollis. He is very active in the Jackson Hole and Teton Valley, ID, communities. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine and on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho and the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund.
Sollis and his wife, Rachel, have four children. He is an avid outdoorsman and is passionate about fly fishing, hiking, snowboarding and other mountain sports.
Mitch has nearly 20 years of financial leadership experience in healthcare,
with his most recent experience as CFO for the Bay Area Health District
in Coos Bay, OR. Prior to Coos Bay, he spent three years at Carson Tahoe
Health, a nonprofit integrated healthcare system serving the Carson City
community where he was the VP and Chief Financial Officer. Carson Tahoe
Health also happens to be a University of Utah Health / Huntsman Cancer
Institute affiliate like St. John’s Health. Before his service at
Carson Tahoe, Mitch spent 12 years with Tenet Healthcare – a large
for-profit healthcare company with hospitals in nine states. While experience
in the for-profit sector of healthcare is incredibly valuable, Mitch’s
heart and values have pulled him into the non-profit space like so many of us.
Mitch earned his Master of Business Administration from California State University Stanislaus, and he earned two undergraduate degrees in accounting and business management from North Carolina State University in Accounting and Business Administration. While at North Carolina State, Mitch had the opportunity to play soccer for a major Division 1 school in the Atlantic Athletic Conference (ACC). In addition, Mitch is a natural teacher and coach. He taught college level courses in accounting as an adjunct professor at Modesto Junior College for five years and has enjoyed many years of coaching youth soccer.
Mitch has been married to his wife for almost 22 years, and they have four children together. For fun, they like to go to Disneyland, go camping, and root for their favorite soccer teams.
Jennifer Chiappa has been with St. John's Health since 2015 where she advanced
through various positions in the Primary Care Unit and eventually accepted
the position of Director of the Patient Care Unit (PCU). She was recently
tasked with opening and managing the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
while maintaining her PCU responsibilities. Jen always shows true dedication
to her staff and patients through empathy and strong communication. She
earned her BSN from Montana State University and her MSN in Nursing Leadership
and Management from Walden University. Prior to her career as a nurse,
she worked as the Director of numerous community-based group homes for
individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. Jennifer has lived
in Teton Valley Idaho for more than 12 years and has two young children.

Lindsay Love has been a valued member of the St. John’s Health team since 2013. She began her career at SJH as a physical therapist, serving patients across home health, outpatient, and oncology settings. In 2017, she became Director of Rehabilitation Services, where she led a multidisciplinary team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists across the full continuum of care. She stepped into her current role as Chief Medical Group Officer in late 2023.
Originally from Whitefish, Montana, Lindsay spent much of her youth ski racing in Jackson, which sparked a lifelong connection to the community. She holds undergraduate degrees in Business and Art History from the University of Washington, and later returned to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the same institution. Between her academic pursuits, Lindsay owned a small business in Seattle, coached ski racing in Whistler, and explored the world through travel.
Today, she continues to embrace adventure with her husband, twin boys, and rich community of friends—whether traveling or enjoying all that Jackson has to offer outdoors.
Karen Connelly is Chief Communications Officer, providing leadership for
St. John's marketing, communications and community relations programs.
She serves as media liaison for St. John's Health and affiliated physician
clinics. Before joining St. John's Health, Ms. Connelly was marketing
director for the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson Hole
Visitors Council lodging tax board. She earned a BA in economics at St.
Lawrence University and a MBA from Clarkson University. She serves on
the board of directors of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce, the Community
Safety Network, and JH Air Improvement Resources.
Anna Olson is the President of St John's Health Foundation and Chief Philanthropy
Officer of St John's Health, responsible for securing philanthropic support
to advance the mission and strategic objectives of St John's Health, including
patient centered care, clinical excellence and community wellness.
Anna moved to Jackson, WY in Nov 1996 from London, England, she spent 21 years at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in various marketing roles and left as Brand Director to become the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce President and CEO in 2017. At the Chamber she advocated on behalf of the business community for solutions to workforce housing, transportation, conservation and behavioral health. Prior to this she served eight years on the Chamber Board of Directors. She was appointed to the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities by Governor Mead in 2012 and is a founding board member of Vertical Harvest Jackson Hole. She was appointed to the Wyoming Office of Tourism Board by Governor Gordon in 2019, resigning in 2022 when she joined SJHF.
Anna is married to Jeff Olson and together they are raising three children, Marcus, Martha, and Pearl, who were all born at St John's Health, Jackson, WY. Her passions include family camping, hiking, skiing, road biking and cooking with friends. The latest Olson, Waffle, is a much loved Golden Retriever who has a lot to learn.
