
Jeff Sollis has over seventeen years of hospital leadership experience
at facilities across the nation, including as chief executive officer
at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC), a position he has held
since 2018. Prior to being appointed CEO in January 2018, Sollis served
as EIRMC's chief operating officer (COO) for four years.
Prior to his tenure at EIRMC, Sollis held positions as chief operating officer at Timpanogos Regional Hospital (Orem, Utah); VP of Operations at Wesley Medical Center (Wichita, Kansas); and Assistant Administrator at North Suburban Medical Center (Thornton, Colorado).
Sollis earned his Masters of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a bachelor’s of arts degree in Behavioral Science and Health from the University of Utah.
Community involvement and philanthropy is a core value for Sollis. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine, and has served on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, and the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund.
Sollis is married to his wife Rachel and they have four children. He is an avid outdoorsman and is passionate about fly fishing, hiking, snowboarding and other mountain sports.
John J. Kren has served as Chief Financial Officer at St. John's since
June 2009, providing the organization with financial performance leadership
from both an operational and strategic perspective. Mr. Kren is also responsible
for the organization’s accounting, revenue cycle, internal audit,
and materials management functions. Mr. Kren previously held a variety
of senior management positions including finance director/controller,
operations officer, and compliance officer. Prior to being recruited to
St. John’s Medical Center, Mr. Kren served at Central DuPage Health
in Chicago, IL, as an administrative resident, followed by roles in accounting,
finance, and compliance. He has also had an extensive entrepreneurial
background. Mr. Kren holds both a BS and an MBA from the University of
Alabama, each with dual concentrations in accountancy and finance. He
also holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the
University of Alabama Birmingham with joint study at the University of
Chicago. Mr. Kren is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association
and the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Karen Connelly is Chief Communications Officer, providing leadership for
St. John's marketing, communications and community relations programs.
She serves as media liaison for St. John's Health and affiliated physician
clinics. Before joining St. John's Health, Ms. Connelly was marketing
director for the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson Hole
Visitors Council lodging tax board. She earned a BA in economics at St.
Lawrence University and a MBA from Clarkson University. She serves on
the board of directors of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the
Community Safety Network.
Jennifer Chiappa has been with St. John's Health since 2015 where she advanced
through various positions in the Primary Care Unit and eventually accepted
the position of Director of the Patient Care Unit (PCU). She was recently
tasked with opening and managing the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
while maintaining her PCU responsibilities. Jen always shows true dedication
to her staff and patients through empathy and strong communication. She
earned her BSN from Montana State University and her MSN in Nursing Leadership
and Management from Walden University. Prior to her career as a nurse,
she worked as the Director of numerous community-based group homes for
individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. Jennifer has lived
in Teton Valley Idaho for more than 12 years and has two young children.
Mary Ponce has been a nurse working at the bedside for 20 years. She holds
various nursing degrees including: ADN from Community College of Southern
Nevada, BSN from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, MSN with an emphasis
in nursing leadership from Grand Canyon University as well as an MBA from
Grand Canyon University. Mary is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International
Honor Society. For the past 4 years she has volunteered and been a member
of St. John’s Auxiliary. Mary has been called a “nurses nurse”.
A servant leader, who advocates for her staff and recognizes the important
role nurses hold in our community and health system. For the past 8 years
she has held leadership roles at St. John’s and prior to this she
worked in the intensive care unit, emergency department, operating room,
oncology, med-surg, and various other areas of nursing. Mary has lived
in Jackson for 9 years with her husband Azari, and they have 2 children
attending University of Wyoming.
Naomi F. Floyd joined the team of CNOs at SJH in October of 2021. Since
obtaining her nursing license in 2004 she has worked in numerous clinical
areas including NICU, Med/Surg, Nursery, Mother/Baby, home health and
case management. She has been a nurse in Wyoming since 2010, working all
over the state. Much of her career as a nurse has been in the emergency
department which is where she started at SJH in 2017. Naomi received her
master’s in nursing in February 2021 from Western Governor’s
University and a bachelor’s in nursing from Weber State University in 2006.
Anna Olson is the President of St John's Health Foundation and Chief Philanthropy
Officer of St John's Health, responsible for securing philanthropic support
to advance the mission and strategic objectives of St John's Health, including
patient centered care, clinical excellence and community wellness.
Anna moved to Jackson, WY in Nov 1996 from London, England, she spent 21 years at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in various marketing roles and left as Brand Director to become the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce President and CEO in 2017. At the Chamber she advocated on behalf of the business community for solutions to workforce housing, transportation, conservation and behavioral health. Prior to this she served eight years on the Chamber Board of Directors. She was appointed to the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities by Governor Mead in 2012 and is a founding board member of Vertical Harvest Jackson Hole. She was appointed to the Wyoming Office of Tourism Board by Governor Gordon in 2019, resigning in 2022 when she joined SJHF.
Anna is married to Jeff Olson and together they are raising three children, Marcus, Martha, and Pearl, who were all born at St John's Health, Jackson, WY. Her passions include family camping, hiking, skiing, road biking and cooking with friends. The latest Olson, Waffle, is a much loved Golden Retriever who has a lot to learn.
